impressedは、movedやtouchedとは少し性質が異なり、思わず”Incredible!”や”Amazing!”と褒めたいほど感動するような成果や出来事に対して使います。日本語の「感心する」や「感銘を受ける」に近いイメージです。
I was impressed that my dog knew how to raise a kitten.
（飼っている犬が子猫の育て方まで知っていて感動した。）
ちなみに、”I”や”Taro”などの人が主語の場合は、moved, touched, impressed、”It”が主語の場合は、moving, touching, impressiveとなります。
